30 Days of Scarborough Part2

Ola Art Lovers

It's feeling ALL consuming at the moment, when friends ask "how are you feeling" all i can say is ... "feeling."
Feeling all the feels and often simultaneously, i feel on the edge of a breakdown or break through or possibly just breaking something i have meticulously haphazardly wrapped up and popped in a box.

I feel like a BoxTroll and surprisingly when i say this i find out that a lot of friends haven't even heard of this remarkable film by the wonders over at Laika Studios in ol' USA. So here you go loves, here it is... As far as i can remember it's a weird lil story of a posh place obsessed with cheeses and wealth but terribly afraid of the evenings when the BoxTrolls come out and steal your children, but the BoxTrolls are in fact marvelous recyclers who actually clean up after the fancy wasteful posh folk and make all manner of wonderous creations. The BoxTrolls are named after the boxes they wear and are named each after the name on their box for example 'Fish' and 'Eggs'. Ah i love the whimsy so much. My fave part is actually the last few minutes of timelapse which you can check out yourself below.

The dreams of being a stop motion animator are still so strong it bursts my heart sometimes!

Anyway that was a bit of a sidetrack, i seem to have wandered off :D Here's a look into the last 5 days of the #30DaysofScarborough and inside peaks of the Art Journal

I made my Second Batch of flavoured Kombucha with Ginger and Lemongrass from the garden.

I held a Dark Moon Fire Ceremony with beloveds to help release old crap and realised at the end of the ceremony that it was the very last one to be held in our beloved Garden.

We held the Garage Sale of the Century complete with lovely neighbours, a crazy kitten, a spontaneous wedding dress up show to probably scare off the punters rather than attract them and the selling of all the things.

I got to hang out yesterday at the property that will hold our new home - The Purple Witches Cottage - Squee! It reminds me so much of a dolls house its so wee, i love it and all the tall trees, the history and all the love and lovely people who live on the beautiful 5 acre property in Banjup.

We don't move in for a little bit yet, the BoxTrolls continue on here in Scarborough and so will the #30daysofscarborough. I'll keep you updated and see if i can get some extra Art Journalling done this cycle, i think i have been overwhelmed by packing and Garage Sales that i didn't really make time - i would like to though so lets see how i go ... for now

Brightest Blessings
